Meet our team
Our combined experience of more than 25 years has provided us with knowledge and skills that we are passionate about sharing with our clients.
A Practice Built on Connection and Experience
Intuitive Counseling was founded by Dr. Jennie Ozan, Psy.D., and Leigh Rzepecki, LCSW, CADC. Between them, they have more than 25 years of experience helping people navigate challenges. The rest of our team comes from diverse clinical backgrounds, but every therapist here believes therapy should feel personal and built on trust. We welcome clients of all identities and circumstances. Many appreciate that all of our providers are in-network with BCBS PPO, and some are also accepted by United. We make therapy more accessible than ever for many individuals and families.

Individual Therapy in Chicago For Many Walks of Life
Every client’s struggle is different, and our treatments reflect each person’s circumstances. Here are some of the areas we often address, but even if you don’t see your specific concern mentioned here, get in touch.
Eating Disorder Therapy
We work with teens and adults experiencing struggles around food, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and patterns that don’t always fit a specific diagnosis. Our goal is to understand the emotional and behavioral components, not just the eating itself. Sessions may include family work, collaboration with dietitians, or small, sustainable shifts in daily routines. For younger clients, we take care to involve parents or caregivers in a way that supports healing without creating pressure.
Body Image Counseling
We work with clients who are tired of the self-criticism and the shame that often accompanies body image concerns. Together, we examine where those beliefs came from and how they’ve been reinforced over time. Whether the pressure stems from early life experiences, cultural expectations, or something else entirely, we help you develop a more compassionate view of your body and yourself.

Depression and Bipolar Disorder Treatment
We provide therapy for people dealing with depression, postpartum depression, and bipolar disorder. You may be feeling low, exhausted, or disconnected, or you may be navigating swings in mood that make it hard to function. We work with you to identify patterns, make room for difficult feelings, and regain a sense of direction. When needed, we may coordinate with your psychiatrist, OB/GYN, or primary care doctor to offer support that covers all aspects of your health.
Gender Counseling and LGBTQ+ Support
Our practice welcomes clients from across the gender and sexuality spectrum. If you’re questioning, transitioning, or just want a space to talk about what identity means to you, we’re here. Some clients focus on gender exploration, while others want support in processing discrimination, family dynamics, or social stress. You don’t have to explain everything; we already respect who you are, and we’re glad you’ve found your way here.
Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety can keep you up at night, drain your energy, and take the joy out of things you used to enjoy. In therapy, we explore where the anxiety shows up, what fuels it, and how to shift your response. Whether the symptoms are tied to worry, panic, or social stress, we will help you feel more at peace and capable of handling what comes your way.
Addiction and Codependency Therapy
Recovery can be about learning to live in an entirely new way. We work with people recovering from substance use, compulsive behaviors, and relationships that have become unhealthy or imbalanced. Therapy can include relapse planning, honest conversation about what’s working and what isn’t, and boundary-setting that feels realistic. Whether you’re early in your recovery or looking to maintain progress, we meet you where you are.
Life Transitions and Career Counseling
Change brings movement, but it can also bring doubt. Whether you’re starting a new job, retiring, grieving, divorcing, relocating, or stepping into a different role in your family or identity, we help you make sense of what’s shifting. Our work focuses on clarity and support. For athletes, we also offer sports psychology to address performance anxiety, motivation, or life after injury.
