Intuitive Counseling Employment Opportunities
Intuitive Counseling is hiring full-time and part-time licensed therapists for our Charleston practice. We are an inclusive behavioral health group that works with teens and adults across a wide range of concerns, and we are continuing to grow our team over time. This page is meant for therapists who are looking for a long-term practice home, not a one-off opening that will disappear after a single hire. If you are a licensed clinician who values thoughtful therapy, strong peer support, and meaningful clinical work, we would love to hear from you.
Our Charleston office serves clients throughout the area with in-person and virtual therapy, and our larger practice is known for responsive care, strong clinical judgment, and a genuine commitment to helping people move toward healthier, more values-based lives. We are especially interested in therapists with experience treating eating disorders, though that is not the only background we value.
Full-Time and Part-Time Therapist Opportunities
We are actively hiring licensed therapists on both a full-time and part-time basis. These roles are a good fit for clinicians who want the structure of an established practice along with the ability to do meaningful outpatient work with adolescents and adults. Our therapists support clients with concerns that may include anxiety, depression, mood-related challenges, eating disorders, identity development, parenting stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
This is not a high-volume, impersonal setting. We want clinicians who care about the quality of the therapeutic relationship and who are able to meet clients with warmth, consistency, and sound clinical thinking. The work here suits therapists who want to grow in a practice that values both independence and consultation.
The Kind of Therapist We Hope to Meet
We are looking for licensed clinicians with strong therapy skills and experience working with tweens, teens, and adults. Beyond credentials, we value therapists who communicate well, think carefully, and want to be part of a collegial practice. A strong candidate for Intuitive Counseling is someone who can build trust, adapt to different client needs, and contribute to a supportive team culture.
Requirements for Joining Our Practice
Candidates should be licensed therapists who are comfortable working in an outpatient setting and who bring a solid clinical foundation to their work. Experience with adolescents and adults is important, since our practice works with both populations. We are especially interested in hearing from therapists who have direct experience with eating disorders, though we also welcome clinicians with strength in related areas such as anxiety disorders, body image concerns, mood issues, codependency, substance use, postpartum support, and LGBTQ+ affirming care.
A therapist who does well here is typically someone who can balance autonomy with collaboration. We want clinicians who know how to work independently, but who also appreciate the value of consultation and coordinated care when a client’s situation calls for it.
Experience That Is Especially Helpful
Eating disorder experience remains a major area of interest for our group. Our practice has deep familiarity with disordered eating, body image work, and multidisciplinary collaboration around recovery. Therapists who have worked alongside dietitians, physicians, psychiatrists, schools, or higher levels of care may be especially strong additions to the team.
Benefits, Support, and Practice Culture
Intuitive Counseling offers competitive W2 compensation, health benefits, retirement savings opportunities, and yearly CEU allowances for employees. We also offer something that matters just as much to many clinicians: an environment where you are not left on your own to figure everything out. Our team values steady communication, clinical thoughtfulness, and the ability to consult with trusted peers.
We maintain a warm, collaborative atmosphere with frequent collaboration and a monthly consultation group. We also have a steady referral base from physicians, dietitians, schools, higher levels of care, and word of mouth. That gives therapists the chance to build and maintain a caseload within a practice that already has meaningful community connections.
Why Many Therapists Prefer Group Practice
For many clinicians, group practice offers a better balance than going completely solo. There is room for your own style and judgment, but there is also peer connection, referral support, and a stronger sense of shared purpose. At Intuitive Counseling, we want therapists to feel supported in their work rather than isolated by it.
Our Charleston Practice Location
Our Charleston office is located at 718 Dupont Rd, Charleston, SC 29407. We support clients throughout the Charleston area, and our office also offers telehealth services for clients in South Carolina. For therapists who want to build a practice in Charleston without starting from scratch, this is an opportunity to join a practice with an established identity, a clear clinical focus, and an ongoing need for skilled clinicians.
The Charleston office reflects the broader values of Intuitive Counseling. We aim to create a setting where clients feel welcomed and where therapists can do steady, thoughtful work over the long term.
